Probably one of the most reliable companies.ģ: Thrustmaster Warthog with Simped F16 pedals. Very high quality potentiometers, very accurate, very light throws. This setup will last years and years and years. And let's not forget Thrustmasters horrible customer service.Ģ: Much easier choice. Downside is cheap plastic exterior and questionable button locations. Dual spring centering that is worlds ahead of a Saitek spring-and-plate setup. All in all, this is probably the most accurate twist stick ever made. Very low amounts of Unintended Axis Movement from the twist stick. In fact, it has the same hall sensors that the Warthog has. Right off the bat, it has Hall-effect sensors. I'm actually going to come at this from the side: Best under $100 joystick is the Thrustmaster T.16000M. Saitek has the better potentiometers, but the spring-and-plate centering is probably the worst for Mechwarrior games - plus you miss out on the excellent Logitech ergonomics. Logitech has the silky smooth travel with a lot better center detent than Saitek, but you pick up the horrible Logitech potentiometers that have a nasty tendency to start spiking within a few months. What would those of you with good controllers recommend:ģ Hide the credit card bill from the wife range.Īlso possibly a good gaming mouse combo as a more economical alt?ġ: Tough choice. So let me ask this for myself and others.
